Last Thursday we celebrated the hard work being done by the NHS and all keyworkers with a thank you clap, ably assisted by the Blackbrook House bell. The bell is an original feature of the house, dating from 1860 when Blackbrook House had 100 acres. It would be rung so the farm workers knew it was tea or lunch break. It's wonderful to be able to use it in this way to mark the outstanding efforts of so many in these difficult times.
