At Blackbrook House We Grow Our Own!

5th September 2012

The Blackbrook House vegetable patch is enjoying the rain, and shows signs of a great harvest later on in the year!

In the spring we planted broad beans, runner and French beans, beetroot, potatoes, shallots, onions and lettuce and all are showing signs of giving us a bumper crop for our kitchen.

Here at Blackbrook we believe in home cooking, and if we can grow some of our ingredients ourselves that's even better!

Once we get some summer weather, we expect our residents will enjoy taking a stroll around our lovely gardens, and relaxing in the shade of our mature trees.
