Blackbrook House was created to provide a caring environment for mobile, elderly people and our aim is to help residents enjoy a new and happy chapter of their lives. We have based our philosophy and our atmosphere on families and a caring family environment. When people come to Blackbrook House, they become part of a caring family house with an open door communications policy and individually tailored care. We offer both Residential and Day Care.
Individual Care, 24 Hours a Day
Blackbrook breaks the mould and the stereotypes in care with country house style. You no longer need to be concerned about security and can maintain your own independence and individuality. An elegant, relaxing place to come and live with individual care, 24 hours a day in a peaceful and beautiful setting.
We encourage residents to use their spacious room as if it was an apartment, choose what you want to do with your day, take advantage of our facilities, the local attractions and enjoy our house, gardens and grounds.
Blackbrook House Day Care
Blackbrook House also offers Day Care. We offer a person-centred approach with full care and all home-cooked meals. Whether you come for a whole or half day, on a regular or ad hoc basis we welcome you to our home. Our Day Care can offer respite to friends and relatives, whilst enabling people to mix socially with Blackbrook House residents and staff.
You may wish to take part in activities or even one of our regular trips out and about during your stay. Regular visits to Blackbrook House helps boost emotional, mental and social wellbeing and can help you or your loved ones to transition people to a residential care setting if this is desired.

Qualified, Experienced Caring Staff
Steve Press is the driving force behind the creation of Blackbrook House Residential Care Home. The carefully chosen Staff Team has a good mix of caring experience and maturity. All our staff are qualified to NVQ 2 or 3 level in care and have a proven history of looking after people.
Someone is always on call, providing individual care 24 hours a day. We can look after your medication or you can self medicate if preferred. We are happy to care for people with mild dementia within our Residential or Day Care provision. Every bedroom has an individual care bell and we are there at all times to care for your needs.
