Blackbrook House Garden And Grounds

29th May 2018

Summer is on its way which is the perfect time to enjoy the extensive gardens and grounds at Blackbrook House. With three acres of landscaped gardens there is plenty for residents to explore here including a rose garden, herbaceous borders, seated areas and large mature trees.

The garden attracts a whole host of wildlife including squirrels, owls, woodpeckers and many other species of birds. Many of our residents enjoy spotting the birds and other wildlife, either from the garden, one of the lounge areas or even their bedroom - All of our rooms have a lovely view of the garden!

It is also the time of year when we start to see things growing in the Blackbrook House kitchen garden. In the past we have had success with carrots, runner beans and other vegetables. Anything we grow is incorporated into the home cooked meals cooked for our residents.

Why not come and read more about our house and garden?
