Blackbrook House Residents Take Part In A Range Of Activities and Trips

29th May 2018

There's always plenty going on to keep our residents entertained at Blackbrook House. We plan regular trips, visitors, activities and special events - so there's plenty to look forward to!

Residents can put forward ideas for trips or activities they are interested in at the monthly residents meeting. Most of our elderly residents take part in the meeting where they can not only suggest ideas for leisure activities but put forward views about other aspects of living here they may want to have heard.

We regularly visit the shops, seaside, museums and places of historic interest and go out for tea and cake but are always open to suggestions of new ideas. In the past we have had activities to suit a range of interests including going to the theatre, learning how to make floral arrangements and a visit from some owls!
