Blackbrook House Residents Visit Portsdown Hill In Hampshire

5th September 2012

This month residents have taken a day trip to Portsdown Hill. Everyone enjoyed the amazing views over Portsmouth, the Solent, Gosport, Hayling Island and even the Isle of Wight. We went in a couple of cars and thankfully the weather was fine, so we made a good afternoon of it.

We always ask our residents for ideas on where to go for a change of scenery and The Alverbank Hotel at Hill Head was another recent trip out, where coffee was served. The hotel is just a minute from the sea front, nestled in pretty landscaped gardens, so the perfect place to unwind.

At Blackbrook House Residential Care Home in Fareham, our residents happiness is paramount. We are here to provide a caring environment for mobile, elderly people and our aim is to help residents enjoy a new and happy chapter of their lives. We have based our philosophy and our atmosphere on families and a caring family environment. When people come to live at Blackbrook, they become part of a caring family house with an open door communications policy and individually tailored care.
