Roses at Blackbrook House

Growing In The Blackbrook House Garden

6th July 2017

Whatever the time of year, there is always plenty growing in the 3 acre landscaped garden at Blackbrook House Residential Care Home. Some of the many plants you will discover here include:

  • Spring flowers including bluebells, daffodils and tulips
  • A selection of roses in our rose bed
  • Various perennials in the herbaceous border
  • Striking rhododendrons
  • Wildflowers in our meadow garden
  • Mature shrubs and trees including tulip and blossoming trees
  • Vegetables such as carrots and runner beans in our vegetable garden

Blackbrook House residents enjoy regular walks and time spent in the garden and are also very welcome to help out in the garden if they wish! Some of our residents continue to develop their interest in gardening by getting involved with pruning and planting.
