Sadly, every now and again, we have to say goodbye to a Blackbrook House resident. We try to make such occasions happy and reflective ones by focusing on the individual and celebrate their memory. And so, the day after the funeral we served all the residents a Blackbrook House afternoon cream tea. It was a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all residents and staff, with a thoughtful speech given by a male resident in memory of the departed lady.
