Gladys meets a chinchilla

Wild Science Return For More Animal Encounters

15th October 2019

We love it when Wild Science pay us a visit. It’s an opportunity for residents to spend some time getting close to all sorts of animals. Because Wild Science have a lot of experience with visiting all sorts of age groups the creatures they feature are used to being handled so it’s a wonderful chance for residents, such as Gladys and the chinchilla (pictured) to enjoy some gentle stroking, or even have a cuddle.

The benefits of such engagements are well documented and so, for us at Blackbrook House, it’s an experience we look forward to.
