It’s been a long time coming, but, finally, Blackbrook House has hosted its first car rally for four years! Covid was the culprit that stopped things for so long, but, at last, we were able to invite the classic cars and exceptional vehicles back on to the grounds.

It was a wonderful afternoon of not just amazing looking cars but singers, dancers and entertainers adding further colour and noise to the fun day. We even roped in the staff’s children and grandchildren into selling the ice creams (and, brilliantly, they got away with charging Blackbrook House owner Steve Press £5 each).

The car rally is a great opportunity for residents to get together with family and friends, or simply enjoy it by themselves, plus there’s the chance for the local community and potential new residents to come and see what Blackbrook House is all about.

It was a day full of smiles and laughter and we’re already looking forward to next year!
