At Blackbrook House Residential Care Home in Fareham we encourage residents to use their leisure time as they wish.

Our 26 stylish bedrooms are there for the elderly residents to use like a hotel room. They are lovely spaces to relax - some residents like to occasionally take meals in their rooms or enjoy a drink or snack in peace and quiet. But there is also plenty of room to enjoy in the two lounges where residents may wish to read, watch TV, play games, do jigsaws, crafts or whatever they enjoy. Of course we also have the extensive gardens and grounds to use too, whether it is simply a stroll around, sit out in the fresh air or getting involved with the gardening!

When it comes to planning activities, from visitors to trips out, we always get our residents involved in the decision making. So if anyone has a certain interest or would particularly like visit somewhere we can try and arrange it. Our monthly residents' meeting is the ideal place to put forward views and ideas.
